This instrument was brought to the United States by its owner many years ago and upon its arrival was examined by Samuel Kolstein who declared it made by William Tarr in the first half of the 19th century. This 7/8 instrument is suitable for use in any professional orchestra. The thunderous sound is both sweet and penetrating, capable of filling any concert hall.
